Our high-quality coconut shell activated carbon for gold recovery can typically absorb around 26 kilograms of gold per ton. The actual capacity may vary depending on ore grade, processing conditions, and the number of reuse cycles.
👉 Learn more about our Coconut Shell Activated Carbon and Gold Extraction Carbon.

Gold-purified coconut shell based activated carbon is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from carefully selected coconut shell charcoal. It is ideally suited for the recovery of precious metals in all forms of contactors providing good adsorption and elution characteristics. Gold-purified coconut shell based activated carbon exhibits a highly developed pore structure to give optimum adsorption while maintaining high product hardness. This contributes to a high gold loading capacity and consistency recovery of properties following regeneration. As a result, make-up requirements are minimized reducing the cost of operation.

Our activated carbon effectively removes VOCs, disinfection by-products (DBPs), chlorinated compounds, chloramines, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, colors, toxins, oils, and more.

Activated carbon should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it sealed in a container to avoid contamination. When handling, wear gloves and protective eyewear to prevent skin and eye irritation.

A:The quantity depends on the specifications of the blocks. Here’s the detailed calculation:
1. Standard Specifications:**
- We offer two common waterproof honeycomb activated carbon sizes:
- 100×100×100 mm (L×W×H)
- 100×100×50 mm (L×W×H)
2. Coverage Calculation:
- The open-face area of each block (100×100 mm) covers 100 cm² (0.01 m²).
- 1 m² = 10,000 cm², so you’ll need:
10,000 cm² ÷ 100 cm² per block = 100 blocks per m²
(This applies to both sizes since the open-face dimensions are identical.)
3. Packaging & Ordering Reference:
- 100×100×100 mm: 18 blocks/box → ~5–6 boxes to cover 1 m².
- 100×100×50 mm: 36 blocks/box → ~2–3 boxes to cover 1 m².
Note: Quantities per box are fixed. We also offer many other specifications—contact us for customized solutions!
